London is a true global metropolis with a rich and fascinating history. For centuries, this city on the Thames has been a pivotal hub for politics, banking, and business. Whether it involves the Royal Family, culture, or sports, major events and festivals lend the city a special luster.
On this trip, we will explore the city center in depth. We will not only view the sights from the outside but also visit landmarks such as the Tower of London (home to the Crown Jewels), St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, and others. Our campsite in the suburbs is just a 40-minute journey from the city center.
After a walking tour taking in Trafalgar Square, the seat of government, and Buckingham Palace, we will use the London transport pass included in the tour price to explore the city—partly on foot, partly by bus, and also via the famous Underground. The itinerary includes visits to musicals, museums, and markets. London by night, a ride on the London Eye, and a stroll through Chinatown are further highlights of the program.
