Our trip in the footsteps of the pilgrims starts in Le Puy-en-Velay, on the southern route of the pilgrims way in France. Next is Conques, which is one of the impressing villages on this historical route.

Travelling on picturesque country roads, through sedate villages we will reach Lourdes, Frances most famous pilgrimage site. Next are the Pyrenees, where the three historical routes of the St. James Way meet up. From here we continue along the Camino de Santiago for another 900 kilometres through northern Spain. First we see Pamplona, then Burgos, Leon and Ponferrada until we reach the most western point at Santiago de Compostela.

After two days in the city of the pilgrims we will move on to Cap Finisterre, the place where the shoes are burned at the end of the pilgrimage.

Returning from Galicia our route is going along the picturesque Atlantic coast called Costa Verde. We see La Coruña, Gijõn, Santander and Bilbao prior to reaching San Sebastian at the Bay of Biscay. Here the tour ends and you travel home or explore the south of France on your own.
