In the 15th century, France began to no longer display power and wealth with the potential for weapons. Culture, elegance and everyday luxury were means to an end to attract attention. The resulting magnificent Renaissance castles with magnificent gardens are on our program.

In addition to the classics of Amboise, Blois and Chambord, we have also selected a few other castles for this trip. There is Cheverny Castle, for example, which was the first castle on the Loire to be opened to the public. Feel like a fairytale prince in Ussé Castle, because this is where Sleeping Beauty, the sleeping beauty, was inspired.

In addition to well-kept gardens, natural-looking forests, large throne rooms and small castle cafés, we also discover other special features of the region: beautiful cathedrals, pretty monasteries and, again and again, great river landscapes.

The saying "Living like God in France" is no coincidence. A dinner in the castle and a wine tasting are among other special experiences on this rather short tour.
